The e-linguas platform was envisioned with the busy teacher in mind. If you sometimes lack the time to search for, organize and develop your own learning material, you’ll find the platform to be of great help.
The e-linguas platform provides teachers with ready-to-use didactic resources from A1 to B2 levels.
Teachers can:
• manage their own courses;
• interact with students and stimulate learning with the use of messages that are integrated on the platform;
• have access to evaluation areas and tools;
• easily follow students’ progress;
• contact AFB’s technical support (helpdesk) for help with technical issues having to do with the platform.
What we have to offer:
The didactic material is organized by levels in agreement with The Common Europeon Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Available levels: A1 to B2
Each European level corresponds to 6 e-linguas levels:
A1.1 to A1.6, A2.1 to A2.6, B1.1 to B1.6 and B2.1 to B2.6
It is estimated that in one month a student can complete all the activities of an e-linguas level. In this way, a European level can be completed in 6 months, for an affordable price.
However, each student and/or teacher determines the rhythm of the learning process.
Each level is made up of several units. Each unit consists of:
• original texts that can be read, heard, or watched through a video;
• reading comprehension questions;
• reading interpretation activities;
• activities for strengthening assimilation of learned subject matters.
Along with the interactive self-practice material, that adds up to around 1,000 activities, there are also written and oral assignments available to be completed by the students. In addition to that, there are grammar files and a survival kit in Portuguese that can be consulted if needed.
On the e-linguas platform teachers have access to every didactic resource they need. Including tools to evaluate their students’ learning progress.
